Meet Jeff Gaul

Jeff Gaul has called Redondo Beach home for over 16 years. As a father to a RBUSD student, he has seen firsthand the strengths of our schools — and the challenges that still need to be addressed.

Jeff has spent his career in medical device manufacturing sales and marketing, playing a key role on a team that soared a mid-size company into one of the top 100 medical device manufacturers by revenue globally. In Redondo Beach, Jeff served as Chair of the Public Safety Commission. Passionate about public service and community advocacy, working alongside parents, teachers, and local leaders to improve outcomes for families across the South Bay.

He has volunteered with the very best in fundraising organizations for our Schools and on the Strategic Planning Committee for Beach Cities Health District, served on the PTA at Lincoln Elementary, and participated in community planning efforts in safety and wellness, such as National Night Out in Anderson Park. These events improved communication with our City and Schools and promoted public safety.

Jeff believes that a strong school district is the foundation of a thriving community. He is running for school board because he wants to bring transparency, accountability, and a genuine commitment to students to the decision-making table.  Jeff completed undergraduate Studies at UC Santa Barbara with a BA in East Asian Studies, Japanese from UC Berkeley and Graduate Studies in International Relations at UC San Diego.  He is proud parent of his daughter who is a RBUSD student and his wife Joy who is a Bruin and a Trojan.

RBUSD is ranked #5 in the California according to Niche and let's make RBUSD even better!  I'm running because I believe our schools deserve a board member who will listen, ask the right questions, and always put students, parents, seniors, teachers and staff first in terms of excellence in safety, wellness, academics, and athletics!
